Denise, I knew you from the time you joined the TUC and was so lucky when you became the secretary to the newly formed unionlearn. I could not have wished for a better colleague. It wasn't always easy and you supported me through good times and not so good! You so deserved to get the 'fourth floor' job. I was so pleased for you and jealous of them! It was great to stay in touch when I retired in 2009. We spoke last year and your voice was just the same and we picked up as if it was yesterday. Denise, you were the best of people and I know your beloved sisters and their families who meant so much to you will miss you so much. You always underestimated yourself, but I never for a minute underestimated you. RIP dear friend. Liz
